From April 5 to 7, 2017, St. Petersburg hosted an annual forum of dock workers, “PORT INFRASTRUCTURE: new construction, reconstruction, modernization.” The forum was organized by the Association of Sea Trade Ports and the Sea Ports magazine, with the purpose of fostering a dialogue of all stakeholders in matters related to construction, reconstruction and modernization of hydraulic structures, and also with the aim of improving the regulatory and technical framework of design, construction and operation of port infrastructure facilities.
On March 29, 2017, during the international Arctic forum “The Arctic: Territory of Dialogue,” ceremonial signing of a letter of intent between Arctic Mining Company and Trest Zapsibgidrostroy took place. The document purports to create port infrastructure for the construction of facilities at mineral deposits in Russia’s Arctic areas.
The letter stipulates a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation in all existing and future infrastructure projects in a complicated natural and climate environment of the Arctic, with Arctic Mining Company acting as Customer.
On February 15, 2017, Moscow hosted the 4th International Forum of Dredging Companies organized by the PortNews media group.
Matters related to the design and construction of new dredgers and dredging pumps to be operated in the maritime offshore area and in Russia’s internal waterways, innovative solutions for the dredging industry in Russia, and production localization in Russia, as well as dredging and land reclamation were discussed in the course of the forum. Opinions of major global developers of dredging machinery, state-of-the-art solutions and new technologies used in both technology development and in platforms (vessels) were presented.
On January 7, 2017 in Pevek, Chukotka AO, arrived ships with cargo required for the construction of hydraulic engineering constructions of the first world's floating nuclear power plant (FNPP), accompanied by two icebreakers. Now ships are discharged in the seaport of the northern city of our country.
On December 21, the Vice-President of "Business Russia" Tatyana Mineeva moderated the strategic session "Implementation of infrastructure projects in the industry" of the VIII All-Russian Forum "Infrastructural projects of Russia." The session was also attended by members of the General Council of "Business Russia" Alexey Goncharov, Alex Poroshin, Anton Lubich, Natalia Komarova and Olga Prokofieva.
All-Russian Forum "Infrastructural projects of Russia" is an annual discussion platform for topical issues how to attract investments in public infrastructure and implement projects of public and private partnership with participation of foreign and Russian experts in them.This year the key topics of discussion were the issues of infrastructure development and the implementation of regional investment projects at the expense of the internal resources and search tools created previously to support projects of Russian companies.
"Nowadays are actively implemented public-private partnership and municipal-private partnership, created industrial parks and industrial clusters, and, what is more, appears a new way to attract investment - a special investment contract - said after the forum Tatyana Mineeva. - But still there is a number of open questions, which become a stumbling block in the implementation of regional investment strategies. These questions formed the basis of my strategy session within the forum."

The Forum was targeted at development of effective solutions to improve competitiveness of the Russian transport system in compliance with the requirements of modern economy and the international transport market.

The engineering and technical measures required to protect the right bank of the Volga River in the central region of Volgograd may be carried out in parallel with the construction of a zero longitudinal (lateral) road. The task to prepare all the necessary documentation was set for the specialists by Governor Andrei Bocharov.
